Health and Safety Protocols

COVID-19 SAFETY AND SANITATION PROTOCOLS

Our top priority

is the health, safety and wellbeing

of the guests and team

at Daryl Christopher

Salon & Spa

We want to reassure you

that we are taking every precaution

due to COVID-19

to provide a clean and

safe space for our guests and team members.

We are vigilant about immaculate cleanliness and sanitation,

and due to COVID-19,

have put into place new protocols

and implemented MA state guidelines

to keep our space safe for your visit.

Policies:

  • All of our team members are Barbicide ® certified, which is an industry certification of the highest standards in proper sanitation and disinfection.

  • Before and after each guest's service, we disinfect the entire hair & color station, spa room, nail area, service tools and common areas visited by each guest.

  • Repeatedly throughout the day, we disinfect high-touch areas including sinks, faucets, counter tops, door handles, bathrooms, and all common area surfaces.

  • Our salon & spa is thoroughly cleaned and disinfected every night.

  • All team members are required to wash hands frequently throughout the day as well as before and after each guest. Hand sanitizer dispensers are located at our salon & spa entrance, front desk, sink areas and bathrooms.

  • All towels and capes are washed and sanitized before and after each guest’s service. Individual robes are freshly laundered and presented to you in an individual protective wrap.

Precautions:

  • Masks are required to enter the salon, and must be worn throughout all services.

  • Please wear a mask that hooks around your ears.

  • All team members will be wearing masks and/or face shields.

  • Everyone within our salon spa space is required to practice social distancing staying 6 feet a apart wherever possible.

  • All hair stations are spaced 6 feet apart, wherever possible.

  • Plexiglass dividers have been installed throughout the salon in compliance with MS state and local guidelines.

  • Employees will be screened upon entering the facility including a temperature check. Any employee with a temperature will be sent home and will not return to work without a doctor’s written consent.

Upon Arrival:

  • Please arrive 5 minutes prior to the time of your appointment.

  • Come to the salon front door where you will be met by a team member for a health screening. You’ll be asked a series of questions and have your temperature taken with an infrared thermometer. If you are showing cold-like symptoms or have been exposed to a person with COVID-19 within 14 days, we will ask you to reschedule for another day.

  • Please wear a mask that hooks around your ears. All team members will be wearing masks and/or face shields.

  • Hair and color stations are spaced 6 feet apart where possible. Plexiglass dividers have been installed throughout the salon in compliance with MS state and local guidelines.

  • When your stylist is ready for you, you may enter the salon and will be shown to your stylist’s chair.

  • The stylist station, tools, and all surfaces throughout the salon are completely disinfected before/after each guest.

  • Each stylist is seeing one guest at a time, so if your stylist is not yet ready, you will be asked to return to your car, and we will contact you when we are ready for you as there is no longer a waiting area.

  • Please come to the salon alone as only those with an appointment are to enter the salon. This helps us keep social distancing a priority.

  • We have temporarily suspended beverage and magazine services. You are welcome to bring your own beverage and reading material.

  • We encourage a cashless checkout. For cash tips, please use Venmo, Zelle or exact change.

  • After checking out, please exit through the spa door.

  • Because our capacity is limited, our books fill up quickly. We suggest pre-booking your next appointment early, either online or by calling us.

Thank you for your support and patience as we work through these important protocols and procedures during these unusual times.

Please stay safe and healthy.
